In a city already renowned for its classical music festival, we're proposing an event that will bring the city together and appeal to the general public. For us, taking over these venues is an opportunity to raise the city's profile on the international stage. Our ambition is to attract both the general public and professionals, to make the event an open-air showcase for experimentation and to encourage fruitful exchanges between French and Quebec artists.
Transe Atlantique is also an opportunity to showcase all the economic players in Saintes by involving, through partnerships, craftsmen, chefs and all the shopkeepers in the town and its conurbation. Of course, the event is being planned with the support of public institutions and our partners in Quebec, who are keen to build a genuine intercultural bridge with us, to showcase the richness and vibrancy of their talents.
